Secure Online Purchasing

Do you remember the days when a can of Coca-Cola was a nickel and you could just pull up to the gas station and fill er' up without knowing you were about to lose an arm and a leg? I don't. I'm a product of the 80's and part of the technology generation. For my generation, making online purchases is usually not that big of a deal. On the other hand, many of the people that didn't grow up surrounded by this amazing technology are rather skeptical of the matter. They find it hard to trust something like a computer with their personal information. Maybe they think the concept of sitting on their butt never leaving their house and having a product shipped directly to their door is too good to be true. I understand that what I'm doing is nothing short of an oxymoron. I am here, communicating via technology, to get people that don't use technology, to use technology. Something is telling me that I'm not going to reach the crowd that I need to. For those of you that understand how simple and easy the Internet market can be, come by our site the next time that you may need a new radiator, air conditioning condenser, heater core, charge air cooler, or radiator core. Simple order processing and easy installation are just two of the reasons our cooling system parts are top of the line. If you would like to place an order with us, you may do it by phone, over the Internet, or you can process it via your pay pal account. Your information is protected and we never release your e-mail address to any third party. Give us a call today if you would like to ask any questions, WE ALL SPEAK CLEAR ENGLISH.

Back to Business

First off, I want to say to my one follower that I am sorry I have been gone so long. I can only imagine how life without such an amazing daily blog could have been. We are approaching the hottest part of the year, or what most people call "hell". Hell is an understatement for the kind of stress that a poorly maintained cooling system can cause on your engine. If you lallygagged through winter without checking your cooling system for leaks, adding coolant when necessary, or getting your radiator flushed, don't expect the summer to be such a cake walk. Summertime is "go-time" for your engine cooling system. Your radiator may have coasted through springtime, but summer is when your cooling system is at its best, or worse if you don't pay attention. Following a few easy tips could save you a lot of time, heartache, and even more money. First off, before you take that car on a long road trip, take it to your local radiator shop and have them perform a radiator flush. This is SUPPOSED to be done once every 3 years or 36,000 miles, but most people let it go until they have to buy a new radiator because their old one had so much buildup and gunk in it that it sprung a leak. Do not let this happen unless you enjoy handing large sums of cash to mechanics. In that case, take your radiator cap off and drive until your in the far end of the red and your engine starts smoking. If that's not you, pay attention to the little wet spots under your car. A small clear wet spot is fine, a puddle of green liquid is not. An antifreeze leak is the most common reason for an engine overheating and the most common reason for that is a leak in the hose connection. The thing with the cooling system is that when there is a problem, it could be either a couple dollars to fix, or a couple thousand. Follow the tips I have given and you will have a better chance of an easy fix. Come by Coolestradiator.com for more tips or to see how we can have a brand new radiator to your door tomorrow at a price that can't be beat.

Summertiiiiiiiiime..your car is overheating. (Say it w/ Sublime- Summertime rhythm)

Ok. It is almost June. It's getting hot outside. What does that mean for your car? Well, for starters, it means you need to get under the hood and start checking your radiator for leaks. This is important because as the summertime temperature gets higher and higher, your car will rely more and more on the engine coolant to stay functional. If you went all winter long without checking your coolant level or checking the cooling system for leaks, chances are you are headed for a headache unless you do it now. I'm not talking about a headache that can be cured with Tylenol, I'm talking about the kind of headache that can only be cured by a trip to the local mechanic to repair a blown head gasket. Thats an expensive dosage of Tylenol. The worst part about a blown head gasket is that it could have been prevented by doing 15 minutes of visual inspections. If you run into a busted hose or loose clamp, change them out, don't try to repair them. More often then not, a radiator repair is a temporary fix. If you notice your radiator is leaking, replace it. Do not let a mechanic tell you he can have it "Good as new, in no time", as that is not possible. The only thing as good as a new radiator is a new radiator. Nothing is comparable to an original equipment quality radiator either. If you would like to check out a new original equipment quality radiator for a great price, come to coolestradiator.com, and let us show you the way business is supposed to be done.

A Simple Telephone Order

Here is a familiar scenario; You would like to place an order from an online merchant, but you would rather speak to a person than process it online. You call...wait...speak to a robot..wait..hit a few buttons...wait..then FINALLY speak to someone that you THOUGHT can help you. Unfortunately, this person does not speak a lick of English, so when you called for a Chevy Radiator, they heard smelly alligator or something completely off. You get so frustrated that you eventually hang up the phone because at this point, you need to consume a few alcoholic beverages before you can continue any further stressful conversations to order a radiator. Don't you wish you could just dial one number, talk to one knowledgeable American, and then have your order completed, all in under 5 minutes? At Coolestradiator.com, we train our sales associates to know and understand, not only the way to treat a customer right, but everything they can possibly know about your radiator. Our sales associates can answer any and every question that you could have, or get the answer from our highly trained technicians. It is very important to us and to the consumer that there be a mutual trust between us. We trust that the customer is providing the right information, they trust that we deliver on our word. If you are fed up with dealing with big businesses that push you aside once they receive your money or talking to Bakbakaba about something they know absolutely nothing about, call us at 1-800-721-1810, and let us show you why we are the number one radiator experts on the web today.

On A Lighter Note

Okay. I had a customer yesterday that REEEEEEALLLLLLLY wanted to find a used radiator for his Honda Civic. I informed him that we have a brand-new-in-the-box radiator for his application in stock. It was under a hundred bucks. This guy was so stubborn, that when I told him the cost, he gasped with surprise, as if that was a high price. He informed me that he had just spent 2 grand on a new engine, so he was kinda strapped for cash. WHAT A MORON. I mean that with the utmost respect, we love our customers and treat them like gold. However, when I hear him stress over how much he spent on his engine, what sense would it make to put a used radiator in? Did he not realize that the sole intention of a radiator is to cool off the very engine he just spent $2K on? I realize the economy is not looking too great right now, but you gotta be able to determine when and where to suck it up and spend the cash. Being a cheap person your entire life will give your kids a wonderful inheritance, but ultimately, you never even enjoy what you spent your whole life to get. For example, a roll of toilet paper at the grocery store that would be considered as "generic" by most, costs a third of the price as that fluffy soft stuff that we all love to use. Yes, right away you are saving money, but one roll of that good stuff will likely last 3 times as long as the other, without causing chap a*s. That is what would be considered as comparing apples to oranges. It's not the same quality, so of course you're not going to get it for the same price, but ultimately, it ends up being about the same, with the soft toilet paper taking the win for the mere lack of chap a*s. A comfortable butt is a happy person. This is where I tie the two points together, you ready? A good radiator creates a happy engine. Happy engines work better and last longer. For you more intelligent readers out there, I am sorry that I had to bring the toilet paper industry into the radiator industry, but hey, some people just don't understand common sense. For those people, I talk about toilet paper.

Hidden Prices???

I noticed something the other day that, as a consumer, really bothered me. I went to make an online purchase from an undisclosed merchant and when I finally got to the checkout page, I noticed they had added shipping charges, handling fees, and tax, without notifying me of this before I made the purchase. The price adjustments put the total cost over the amount that I had found the same product for elsewhere. This is an occurrence that, as normal and everyday as it seems, will still never happen to a consumer shopping on CoolestRadiator. We make it very clear to the customer what they are paying for. If you order a high quality radiator from CoolestRadiator, you will pay for one high quality radiator. We never charge shipping, handling, or tax, as a matter of fact. The price that you see for example, $134.09, is the final price. When you receive your credit card statement, you will notice a payment posted of $134.09. The amount that it costs to ship the item is our responsibility, we believe. The small things like that make CoolestRadiator the number one place in the world to purchase your high quality radiator, a/c condenser, or heater core. We provide customer service at a personal level, with none of your questions being transferred to overseas operators. Give us a call today and see what makes CoolestRadiator customers want to keep coming back to us.

High Quality Automotive Radiators

What is it that drives businesses to sell cheap crap? What would motivate a business to build products to a low standard? The answer is greed. Greed causes businesses to cut corners and sell inferior quality materials. Greed causes big corporations to take advantage of the state of the economy by sending the jobs to sweat shops, paying pennies on the day for work, as opposed to paying professionals the money that makes them professionals. Sacrificing quality for more profit is something many businesses have begun to do during this "recession". At CoolestRadiator, we do not buy into the "build cheaper, sell cheaper, sell more" theory. That's just not how we do. Here is an example; As opposed to using typical plastic on our quality radiator tanks like our competitors, we use a superior BASF material for our tanks, with no regrind material. This BASF material allows our tanks to be pressure tested to minimum standards exceeding 150,000 pressure cycles, not 35,000 like some of our competitors. Our tanks are not only constructed using a higher quality material, but are also an average of .5 millimeters thicker. If you continue on and look at each component of the radiator, you will notice the superiority of the radiator you are looking at. Each and every one of our quality radiators utilize brass-knurled bushings, never plastic. Our high quality radiators also include high-quality brass knurled bushings to prevent seeping over time. For a better seal design we use an oval gasket and a deep groove header to deliver a better-longer lasting crimp. Next, we use a locking tab to lock the side column to the end tanks for added durability, core support, and at the same time allowing space for tube expansion and contraction. Once you are done noticing the beautiful side column design of a CoolestRadiator high-quality radiator, take a little time to notice just how brilliantly designed our oil coolers are. Our radiators proved through various tests that a CoolestRadiator design meets or exceeds OE performance specifications for heat rejection and pressure drop. Top it off with the oil cooler o-ring/groove flange design that prevents the gasket from being moved out of place during assembly, eliminating the potential for an external leak. Take the beautiful CoolestRadiator and notice that not only the radiator itself, but the box it is strategically packed in, is top of the line and uncontested by competition worldwide.

Heavy Duty Radiators

When it comes to cooling an engine such as a Detroit Series 60 or a Mack truck engine, you definitely want to make sure that your putting quality before price, as your main concern. Some people say, "Well, this used mack truck radiator is a few hundred bucks less than this new one," but what they are completely disregarding, is the price of the engine that is being cooled. Here is an example, say you have a $9,000 dollar Cummins ISB 5.9L engine; How much common sense would really be behind the thought of putting a $250 used radiator in? By the way, the radiator is the only component responsible for keeping that pricey engine from overheating. That doesn't sound too bright, huh? That would be like putting a quality quarterback like Sam Bradford behind an offensive line consisting of high school players, it's just not gonna cut it. The heavy duty radiators that we provide here, cannot be beaten when it comes to quality. Our heavy duty radiator cores are manufactured here, in the good ol' U.S. of A. They are built by highly trained professionals, not in sweat shops overseas. Weather you need a complete truck radiator , a complete industrial radiator, a radiator core with solder on tanks or bolt on tanks, or a large Cat engine cooling package, you can rest assured that you are dealing with THE professionals, and you will receive service and quality that is uncontested worldwide.

Copper / Brass or Aluminum?

Many people do not know the difference in an aluminum radiator and a copper/brass radiator . On the other hand, there are people that will not use an aluminum radiator, for fear that they are not as durable or as heavy duty as a copper/brass radiator . My completely non-biased stance on the topic is this; An aluminum radiator does actually dissipate heat at a much quicker rate than the standard copper/brass radiator, but you cannot fix an aluminum radiator if it was damaged. The differences in heat dissipation are usually made up on the copper/brass' end by increasing the number of fins per inch or increasing the thickness of the core, or number of rows of tubes. For example, an aluminum 1 row radiator inches in thickness, would cool about the same as a 2 row copper/brass radiator. Ultimately, the decision is the consumers, but with a little guidance, the decision can be made a little bit easier.

New Radiator or Used Radiator?

Unless you would like to be just like the above pictured cat, you should definitely be informed of the differences in buying a new radiator and repairing your damaged radiator. A radiator repair should only be done on a situational basis. If it is your only option, then, by all means, do what is necessary for your situation. However, if you are trying to just save as much as possible, keep this in mind; Your radiator is the only component of your vehicle that is responsible for keeping your engine temperature at a safe level. Without a properly installed, well-maintained radiator in place, your vehicle could be just a few miles from its demise. Now, would you rather your thousand plus dollar engine be cooled by a used radiator, or a brand new radiator with a lifetime warranty that is designed to meet or exceed original equipment specifications? I would assume the latter, but if a new one is not an option, a used radiator should hold up for a few months. It all comes down to this, your vehicle needs a radiator in order to be functional, so why waste money on a used one when you know that you will be eventually buying a new one anyways? Your best bet is to go to coolestradiator.com and buy a rather inexpensive radiator with a lifetime warranty, so that you can rest assured that buying another radiator is not going to take place anytime soon. Don't hesitate to spend a little more when your talking about the component solely responsible for keeping your engine at a safe temperature.
